So, I was rearranging some of the crap currently littering the hallowed halls of American Barbarica HQ last night when I realized that my copy of
Traveller was sitting
right beside the
Spelljammer box set, both of which were mere feet from
X1: The Isle of Dread.
My sunday game could use a shot in the arm.

Dare. A mixed-technology-level Traveller planet where the natives have mastered force fields and antigravity but are still at a Renaissance-era technological level otherwise would be awesome. A floating Isle of Dread ala Jorune or Avatar added in just makes it that much more awesome.
Asteroid of Dread? Sounds fun. But Grubbian physics + the hard scifi of Traveller makes my brain hurt.
Sounds like a combo game I'd love to play in! Can I be a Vargr Pirate with a +2 Laser-Crossbow of Speed!
